My favourite memory of 2012 is seeing
the most beautiful black sanded beach called La Desembocadura del Río Bio Bio,
Chile.
It is a special memory because I still have that lively picture in my
mind. When I arrived there, the sea was so agitated and a strong wind was
making the beach seem like the most dangerous place to be in that moment. The
sea was wild but in the same time so beautiful, a miracle of nature indeed.

I didn't go swimming that day because I was sure that the sea would have caught me in its waves and would have never let me go... I have just stood there and watched it till the sun set in the sea.
That day I realised that I was at the end of the world, 13 800 km far from home and I was sure that my life was about to change…
